Jobs
Unlike many politicians, I will not simply attempt to "create jobs" in an arbitrary and unexplained manner. Oftentimes, the creation of jobs is highlighted and touted by politicians or political candidates without further elaboration. The quality of the jobs being created, how effectively they are contributing to the livelihoods of those working them, and the specific function they are performing for the country are all of critical importance. The development of jobs must be a thoughtful and intentional endeavor, carried out with meaning and purpose so as to not congest our workforce with meaningless jobs that do nothing for our citizens and the country. I will abolish the 40-hour work week and return the power of bartering and interpersonal communication between employees and employers. People are inherently meant to be free, not have the majority of their time and energy controlled by their employer or employing business/agency. Jobs are meant to provide a place for people to contribute, in their own way, to society, not burden people with expectations and demands to the point that they feel like slaves. I will raise the minimum wage using fiat currency and provide Americans with a monthly stipend of income until the overall functioning of the economy, (the relationship between people, their work, and their expenses) is restored to a healthier balance. It is a deeply flawed system within the United States and has been improperly functioning for a very long time. This is something that will require some patience and likely a lot of close monitoring to ensure it is working as intended.
